Thank you for visiting our web site. The Fidelity Amateur Radio Club has a history of rich traditions and civic service dating back to the 1930s. The longevity of the club is a result of solid leadership and membership support the club has experienced throughout the decades. We’re fortunate to have members who have been in the hobby for many years.
Fidelity Amateur Radio Club (FARC) is a diverse group of individuals who share a common interest in the hobby of Amateur Radio. Radio Amateurs (or “Hams” as they are commonly called) are those who hold a valid FCC license and are interested in Amateur Radio for personal and non-monetary reasons. Licenses are available to most permanent residents who pass an examination on operation, equipment, and regulations affecting Amateurs.
Interested in learning about Ham radio and getting a license or possibly upgrading your current license? We would be glad to help in any way possible. Please contact the club via e-mail and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible. Also, check out our Getting Started page for some of the many different facets of the hobby!
